Oli Piat – a cold seafood platter straight from the Croatian sea
The finest treasures of the Croatian Adriatic on one plate – fresh oysters, raw Adriatic scampi and clams. A cold platter fishermen have enjoyed for centuries, right after coming home from the sea.

Oli Piat is our cold platter straight from the Croatian sea – a selection of the Adriatic's finest treasures served without heat, without sauce and without anything to hide behind. It includes two fresh oysters, two raw Adriatic scampi and two clams, priced at €23.00 per person.
A platter like this has been served among fishermen for centuries, right after returning from the sea, because freshness was the greatest value of all. When seafood is perfectly fresh, it needs nothing more than a drop of lemon and the sea water still resting in the shell. That is why we only assemble Oli Piat once a guest orders it, using whatever arrived that very morning.
Adriatic oysters are known for their briny, mineral and slightly sweet finish, while raw scampi have an almost creamy texture and a delicate sweetness that cooking always takes away a little of. Clams, a traditional Adriatic shellfish, round off the platter with the flavour local fishermen love most.
We recommend pairing Oli Piat with a glass of chilled Istrian Malvazija or sparkling wine – the freshness of the wine and the salinity of the sea make for the perfect match. For guests trying raw seafood for the first time, this is the best possible introduction to genuine Istrian fishermen's cuisine.
If you are looking for a seafood restaurant in Poreč where shellfish and crustaceans are treated the way fishermen intend them to be, Oli Piat is the dish that opens every great dinner at Oli Mare. We recommend it as a starter before the catch of the day or one of our other house specialties.
