Poreč · Istria
Daily catch, seafood and carefully chosen Istrian wines — served simply, the way the sea asks for.
Our story
Oli Mare is a family company that has worked in fishing and shellfish farming on the Istrian coast since 1990. For more than thirty years we have harvested fish, mussels, oysters and clams from the Adriatic, and then we opened our own fish restaurant in Poreč serving only our own catch and our own shellfish — from sea to plate, with no middlemen.
At Oli Mare we cook homemade Istrian specialities made from our own fish and shellfish — dishes everyone visiting Istria and Croatia should taste at least once: grilled daily catch, gregada fish stew from an old fishermen's recipe, octopus in sauce, scampi and lobster buzara, fresh oysters and mussels, tuna tartare, sea bruschettas, homemade pljukanci pasta with seafood and fisherman's potatoes — all with Istrian olive oil, truffles and a glass of Malvazija or Teran.

Seafood restaurant in Poreč
Looking for where to eat in Poreč? Oli Mare Fish & Wine is a seafood restaurant in the town centre, steps from the old town and the Euphrasian Basilica. Every day we work with the daily catch of local fishermen: sea bass, sea bream, dentex, sole, octopus, cuttlefish and squid, scampi, mussels, oysters and scallops.
Our cooking is Mediterranean and Istrian: fresh grilled and oven-baked fish, gregada fish stew from an old fishermen's recipe, octopus in sauce, scampi and lobster buzara, oysters and mussels from our own farm, tuna tartare, sea bruschettas, homemade pasta and pljukanci with seafood, and a seafood platter for two — all with Istrian olive oil, truffles and local wines. That is why guests find us when searching for restaurants in Poreč and the best fish restaurant in Poreč.
